wanted to let you all know i'll be back as soon as possible,my ps3 has shot craps for the 2nd time in 6 months,(yellow flashing light) and of course the warranty is up on the referished 1 they sent me so i'll have to fix this1 myself,so bear with me and hopefully see ya soon..

If you haven't opened it yet, I'd give a shout to sony before you fiddle in your PS3.

If I get this straight, you got a refurbished PS3 from sony about 6 months ago ? If so, you should have been provided with, to my understanding another year warranty, if it was "refurbished" by Sony.

Have a read here: http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/Warranties/PS3 and give them a shout.

Explain the situation in a calm fasion, clearly state that you got the Yellow light issue again.

If this doesn't work, clamly ask for a supervisor and go up the ladder.

I'm sure you could have them to fix/replace it.

wasnt to hard..watched a video on you tube..took about 4 hours,and my warranty was only 90 days on the refurb..believe me i was on the phone with sony asap,they just said sry..and we can fixx it for 150$..so see you all in game,thnx for the post though mhystic

Sad that sony could not step up and fix this again...

I've had them replace a 7 year old PS2 with no charge a few year ago. I guess time changes.

How is it on the PS3? I've thought about moving to PS3 except for the fact that I use a few windower plugins :X
Buuut, I have heard that playing on the PS2 and PS3 eliminate a lot of the annoyances that PC-users have. Such as the crappy framerates and such in high traffic areas with lots of characters, and the hugely noticeable lag on some actions, such as casting @80%.

Now if only there were a way to get some sort of macro making program that lets you have more than 6 lines per macro onto the PS3 Q_Q
